Grana Padano D.O.P. - Aged 18 Months
While most producers age their Grana Padano for only 12 months, Latteria Sociale Stallone ages their wheels for at least 18, sometimes longer. The results is a rich, full-bodied cheese with a fragrant aroma. The milk comes from 15 local farmers in the region of Parma and Piacenza, and made by a cheese maker that's been producing it for over 50 years. We love Grana Padano in pastas and risottos, where it adds a wonderful creaminess and just enough saltiness, but we've been known to sneak a chunk and drizzle it with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
